Refund Policy

INTRO COURSE

All Intro classes are subject to change or cancellation by Scratch DJ Academy. In the event that a course must be cancelled by Scratch, all students in that course are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations by the student after the start of the current term are subject to a $50 cancellation fee as well as a $75 charge (per class attended). No refunds will be given after the 3rd class.

SUMMER CAMPS

Camp enrollment is 100% refundable up until one month prior to the camp start date. Any cancellation after that time will not be issued a refund. Campers may switch camp dates subject to availability up to June 1.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

After School Programs are subject to change or cancellation by Scratch DJ Academy. In the event that a course must be cancelled by Scratch, all students in that course are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations by the student or parent after the start of the current term are subject to a $50 cancellation fee as well as a $75 charge (per class attended). No refunds will be given after the 3rd class.

DJ CERTIFICATION

The DJ Certification Program is non-refundable.

Certification students are allowed one term off during their certification track. However if a student takes more than one class term off, then a $500 reinstatement fee will be incurred and a mandatory evaluation of student to assess the correct level class upon re-entry. Students may have to retake a class at an additional fee.

IN PERSON PRIVATE LESSONS

1-on-1 Lessons are non-refundable. Any student canceling a lesson must do so at least 24-hours in advance. Cancellations within 24-hours of a scheduled lesson are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Lessons must be completed within 6 months of purchase.

LIVE ONLINE LESSONS / KIDS ONLINE LESSONS

Online Lessons are non-refundable. Any student canceling a lesson must do so at least 24-hours in advance. Cancellations within 24-hours of a scheduled lesson are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Lessons must be completed within 6 months of purchase.

IN-HOUSE EVENTS

Upon cancellation of the event by the purchaser, Scratch DJ Academy will retain the 50% deposit as a cancellation fee. If the purchaser chooses to reschedule the event, the purchaser is subject to a 20% non-negotiable fee and has the option to apply the original deposit to any in-house event greater than or equal to the original events cost within six months of the initial event date.

MERCHANDISE / SHOP / GIFT CARDS

Merchandise purchases are non-refundable. Gift cards are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.
